And Hilda is... something, alright. But I'm glad she did so. I know she's been a little stressed about... well, everything here.

I'm not sure trusting Hilda with sharp pointy objects around me is a good idea.

You're from the same world then? I didn't realize, and I don't think she realized you and I are involved.

You weren't entirely friendly then?

I feel like I ought to disclose our first meeting was...both ingesting the mating-laced skewers at the beach. Other than that and her helping with my grooming for the strings to release us, I have not really interacted with her.

Would she really stab you?

No, she probably wouldn't stab me. Without adequate cause, anyway. Can't say I haven't given her that before, though. Hell, she might stab me for implying she'd stab me?

We were friends, of a sort, back in our Academy days, before the war. After that, though, we ended up on opposite sides. Not enemies, not exactly, but not really allies either. I haven't seen her since our Academy days, though. Although I was pretty sure I was about to, had this place not intervened.

Wait, you both ate the skewers and she didn't climb you like a tree? I'm impressed. Or disappointed. Maybe both.

I'm sorry. I know what it's like to end up on opposite sides of a war with those from your youth. I hope that crossing paths here is more neutral.

She did do that, yes. With no lack of encouragement from me. We were both rather mortified the next time we saw each other.

I think it will be. It's not like either one of us were all that eager to be in a war in the first place.

It was these things usually go. She climbed in my arms and ordered me to take her somewhere to mate her. I deeply wanted to prove myself and please her. I carried her to a cabana and set her on a dresser to use my mouth, but she protested it wasn't enough and pulled me to bed. She told me to bruise and mark her. I was on top but she certainly led and fucked me harder. She was not shy about orders, which you know how I feel about that. We nested for awhile, until the magic wore off, and then both awkwardly said goodbye. I'm not sure who was redder the next time we saw each other, with the strings, but she was clear she wanted to try again as people actually meeting. I appreciated that.

She told me a little about your home, or at least her part of it, and some people she knew. I could tell she was a warrior and that the war weighed on her, and that she doesn't like to burden others. She does like to tease and fluster though. Is that cultural, or just the two of you?
