a wintertime gift.
Date: 2025-01-16 10:38 pm (UTC)laid inside is handsome suede jacket that is lined with very warm material, built with a high collar and folded cuffs. there are signs that it is handmade with care, from the measurements carefully made to fit basch's particular frame itself. the lining is quilted in a deep blue fabric and very soft. in among the blue lining there are small embroidery animals done here and there, almost like they're meant to be discovered by chance. some are hidden under the cuffs (a few rabbits cuddling), some circling the inner neckline in soft thread (some song birds in flight together).
when zipped up, the jacket itself is comfortable, and with a good weight to it, meant to act like an embrace, perhaps.
(after giving this to him, he'd like to offer to take him to dinner, a date - no snowstorms, no weird cabins, no forced advertisements shoving them together. while maybe the cabin hadn't been all that bad, getting to relax, truly for once with warm dinner and some company, is something he'd like to give to him so yes the date is a present too.) ]
